Agafay Pool Day Pass: How Does It Work, and Cost?
Agafay's Pool Day Pass runs 11am to 4pm, from €35 to €75 per person depending on the meal chosen. Here's exactly how rates, timing and booking work.
Agafay's Pool Day Pass gives full access to the camp's pool from 11am to 4pm, with four formulas depending on the meal and evening entertainment you choose: starting at €35 per person for pool access alone, up to €75 per person for the pool plus an evening dinner with a show. Bookable without an overnight stay, just 30 minutes from Marrakech, it's the simplest way to experience the Agafay desert in a single day.
What Day Pass formulas does Agafay offer?
The camp offers four formulas, so you can pick exactly how much of the day you want to spend there. The entry formula, from €35 per person, gives pool access with views over the desert and the Atlas mountains, towels included. The Pool & Lunch formula, at €50 per person, adds a traditional Moroccan lunch. The Pool & Dinner with Entertainment formula, at €75 per person, extends the day into the evening with dinner and a show. A fourth formula, the Full Day Pass, combines pool, lunch, dinner and entertainment over a whole day; its rate is given on request depending on the season. Children get a 50% discount on every formula, which makes the lower tiers especially good value for a family outing.
What does a day with the Day Pass look like?
Pool access is open every day from 11am to 4pm. Morning and early afternoon are spent by the water, with views over the camp's six hectares, the surrounding desert and the Atlas mountains in the background. Formulas that include lunch serve a full Moroccan meal at the camp's restaurant around midday, the same kitchen that serves overnight guests. For the evening formulas, the day continues past 4pm with dinner and entertainment, as the sky darkens over the desert, in a different mood from the afternoon by the pool.
How far in advance should you book a Day Pass?
Booking goes through the site's contact form or by phone, at least 24 hours ahead — a deadline worth respecting especially on weekends and in high season, when spots are limited. Transfer from Marrakech isn't included in the rate but can be arranged on request when booking; allow about 30 to 45 minutes from the city centre depending on traffic. Our complete guide to reaching Agafay from Marrakech covers the other transfer options.
Day Pass or a night in a tent: which to choose?
The Day Pass suits travellers who want to experience the camp and the desert without staying overnight, for an afternoon or an evening. For full immersion, with a desert sunset and sunrise, a night in a luxury tent is the better option: tents start at €170, breakfast included, regardless of how many people share the tent. Nothing stops you starting with a Day Pass to try the place before booking a full night on a future stay.
Does the Day Pass suit families and groups?
Yes: the 50% discount for children makes the Day Pass formulas accessible to families, and the pool's open desert view appeals to adults and younger guests alike. For a group of friends or an extended family booking several spots at once, it's best to call the camp directly: the team can group the bookings together and confirm availability for the whole party in one go. Our Agafay with kids guide covers activities and formulas suited to children beyond the Day Pass.
