The Route: Simple and Signposted

From central Marrakech, head towards Ménara airport then the Amizmiz road (R203). After the village of Tameslohte, the landscape gradually strips bare: olive groves give way to the ochre hills of the Kik plateau. Camps are signposted along the road. Allow 30 minutes without traffic, 45 at rush hour leaving Marrakech.

Option 1: The Camp's Organised Transfer (Recommended)

Practical Tips

Leave Marrakech before 4:30pm in winter to arrive before sunset — the show deserves to be watched from the camp, not the car. Pack a light jumper even in summer: desert evenings are cool.
